Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)

1. Definitions

• “Company”: Medi-Spa International Ltd, Unit 21, 43 Gatwick Road, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9LD, UK, Company No. 12754413.
• “Customer”: The original purchaser of the sauna.
• “Product”: Any Medi-Spa branded sauna (Infrared, Outdoor, Combination).
• “Lifetime Guarantee”: Warranty provided by Medi-Spa for manufacturing faults, for the life of the product, to the original purchaser only.
• “Bulb Warranty”: 20-year warranty for bulbs supplied with the sauna, for manufacturing defects only.

2. Entire Agreement & Precedence

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Medi-Spa and the customer, superseding all prior representations, agreements, or understandings, whether oral or written.

Any variation to these terms must be in writing and signed by an authorised Medi-Spa representative.

3. Product Scope

These T&Cs apply exclusively to Medi-Spa branded saunas.

No other products (hot tubs, swim spas, ice baths, accessories, etc.) are covered unless expressly stated in writing.

4. Guarantees & Warranties

4.1 Lifetime Guarantee

• Covers manufacturing faults in the sauna’s structure and components (excluding bulbs and consumables).
• Non-transferable; valid only for the original purchaser and at the original installation address.
• Guarantee is void if the sauna is moved, modified, or repaired by anyone not authorised by Medi-Spa.

4.2 Bulb Warranty

• All bulbs supplied with Medi-Spa saunas are covered by a 20-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
• Replacement bulbs under warranty do not extend or renew the original warranty period.
• Bulb warranty excludes:
  • Bulbs not supplied by Medi-Spa
  • Bulbs damaged by misuse or improper installation
  • Bulbs reaching end of normal life expectancy

4.3 Exclusions

The following are NOT covered by the Lifetime Guarantee or Bulb Warranty:

• Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or changes in appearance not affecting function.
• Damage from misuse, neglect, improper installation, lack of maintenance, or failure to follow Medi-Spa’s guidelines.
• External factors (fire, flood, lightning, power surges, acts of God, pest/animal damage, chemical damage, vandalism, or theft).
• Consumables, accessories, filters, control panels, third-party parts, or optional extras unless specifically stated in writing.
• Commercial installations, unless agreed in writing before sale.
• Consequential or incidental losses (e.g., loss of enjoyment, business interruption, water damage to property, etc.).

5. Installation & Use

• Saunas must be installed by a qualified professional in accordance with Medi-Spa’s official guidelines.
• Proof of professional installation may be required for warranty claims.
• The customer is responsible for ensuring the installation site is suitable (power supply, foundation, ventilation, access, etc.).
• Medi-Spa is not responsible for site suitability or costs related to site preparation or rectification.

6. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the sauna is unused and in its original packaging.
• Refunds (if any) are processed only after inspection and confirmation the product is unused and undamaged.
• No returns or refunds are accepted after installation.
• Bespoke or custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned except for proven manufacturing faults.
• Any costs for failed delivery due to site inaccessibility or customer absence are borne by the customer.

7. Claims Procedure

• All warranty claims must be submitted in writing, with proof of purchase and photographic evidence of the alleged fault.
• Claims must be reported within 7 days of discovery of the fault.
• Medi-Spa reserves the right to inspect the product on site or request return of the faulty part for examination.
• If a claim is approved, Medi-Spa will repair or replace the faulty part at no cost for parts and labour (excluding travel costs outside standard service areas).
• If a claim is not approved, the customer may be charged for call-out and inspection fees.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Medi-Spa’s liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts.
• Medi-Spa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the sauna.
• Advice or recommendations are for guidance only unless confirmed in writing.

9. Force Majeure

Medi-Spa shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, strikes, supply chain disruption, or government action.

10. Customer Responsibilities

• Customers must follow all maintenance, cleaning, and operational guidelines in the user manual.
• Failure to perform recommended maintenance may void guarantees and warranties.
• Registration of the product for warranty activation may be required.

11. Dispute Resolution

Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably through mediation before commencing legal proceedings.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

13. Data Protection

Customer data will be handled in accordance with Medi-Spa’s privacy policy and UK data protection law, and may be shared with relevant third parties for contract fulfilment.

14. General Provisions

• If any provision is invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No delay in exercising rights constitutes a waiver.

Terms of Sale (TS)

1. Product Information

• Applies only to sauna models available at the time of order.
• Specifications, features, and pricing are subject to change without notice.

2. Payment Terms

• Full payment is required before dispatch unless otherwise agreed.
• Finance options may be available, subject to approval.

3. Delivery & Installation

• Standard delivery is within 28 days of order confirmation unless otherwise agreed.
• Installation must be booked separately.
• Medi-Spa is not responsible for delays outside its control.
• Risk passes upon delivery; title passes upon full payment.

4. Cancellations & Returns

• Orders may be cancelled within 14 days if unused and in original packaging.
• Refunds processed after inspection.
• No returns after installation.
• Post-installation faults handled via repair/replacement under warranty.
• Bespoke orders cannot be cancelled except for manufacturing faults.

5. Guarantees & Warranties

• Lifetime Guarantee applies to manufacturing faults (see T&Cs).
• Bulbs carry a 20-year manufacturing defect warranty.
• Warranties apply only to the original purchaser.

6. After-Sales Service

• Includes maintenance plans and technical support.
• Additional charges may apply outside standard service areas.

7. Data Protection

Customer data is handled in accordance with Medi-Spa’s privacy policy and UK data protection law.

Medi-Spa reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The latest version will be provided upon request or at the point of sale.
